Please note that these are mostly accounts that got hacked. Probably with password reuse.

If not, then please reconsider!
A password safe is an easy way to manage both unique passwords and 2FA!
It might be inconvenient, but at least you won't be the face of the next round of this nonsense.
@el_on_libera@fosstodon.org Yes to both. One step people skip after a password change: open the account's active sessions and authorized apps and revoke anything you don't recognise. An old session or app token can outlive the new password.
