The image displays an aerial view of the historical town Bressanone, with a focus on its central area. Prominent in this scene is St. George's Cathedral (Cattedrale di San Giorgio), identifiable by its bell tower and large structure among other buildings. The photograph appears aged, suggesting it may be from the late 19th or early 20th century.

Below the aerial view of Bressanone stands a caption that reads "Bressanone m.560 s.m.- Veduta generale," indicating this is an overall overview of the town at approximately 560 meters above sea level. The image's monochromatic tone and texture suggest it might be from early photography or have been altered to resemble such a vintage aesthetic.

The surrounding landscape includes patches of greenery, possibly fields or parks, with more buildings dispersed across them. A river can also be seen flowing through the town, adding a natural element to this urban setting. The overall composition provides insight into Bressanone's historical archi
