@ObsidianUrbex@mstdn.social Damn, I have vague memories of visiting the Saurierpark in East Germany as a kid. Looking that up, it appears, there are really a lot of people who do. Swathes of photos from the 1980s, that, I'm sure, are indistinguishable from the ones I must have (of which I'm also sure) somewhere.

Though really, seeing Jurassic Park as a kid got me interested in dinos, including clever girls like the raptors. As an adult, I've learned a bit more about the species, including that the velociraptor is closer to turkey-sized than person-sized. Science is cool!
