A photograph taken with film shows a tranquil canal in Venice, where two boats are moored. The canal is bordered on one side by a long exposed brick wall with two gates, the nearest of which has a built-in staircase leading down to the water. Beyond the wall, a large garden is visible, above which rise the tops of numerous trees.
