A black and white photograph depicting a woman carrying an infant on her back. They are in what appears to be a crowded urban street, with various pedestrians visible around them. The child is wearing a light-colored hat or head wrap, while the adult's attire includes dark pants and shoes paired with a long-sleeved garment that reaches down past their knees. Notably, they're both dressed for cool weather. A striped barrier runs parallel to the walkway where this duo travels. Japanese characters are visible in the background on an overhead signboard or storefront banner, indicating the setting is likely Japan during 1950s-60s due to fashion and language presence.
