I went to Maribor, Slovenia around a month ago and had these photos developed back then. Unfortunately, due to paper deadlines, I couldn't get around to posting them... but here we go!

Gosh, it was SO beautiful, but also so very hot that day. If you go there, I really recommend going up to this photo point: Za Kalvarijo 1, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia - you get a super gorgeous view of the city. (Digital photos in the thread below).

A wide view over the Drava River shows Maribor's old town on the far bank, its GORGEOUS red-tiled roofs by rolling green hills (or are they mountains?). A pedestrian bridge cuts diagonally across the foreground, with swans dotting the calm river below. A hanging basket overflowing with pink & red flowers on top of two poles of a red, metallic bridge railing overlooking the Drava river. Perfectly between the two poles is a church in the far distance on a hill. Honestly, a beautiful shot if I must say so myself. A gilded statue atop a column in Maribor's main square, standing before the white-red fancy facade of a corner building. Colorful row houses in red, cream, and white are in around this corner building, with warm film grain giving the whole image a nostalgic tone.
