A small, distant house lies at the foot of a sunlit grassy hill beside a road lined with trees and power lines. Beyond is a strip of river, at the far side of which stands a dense green forest of conifer trees. From the forest a thick fog rises, almost a low cloud, softening the more distant treetops. At the top of the image is a glimpse of high clouds in a blue sky.
