I’ve donned my shepherdess cloak (sadly only metaphorically) for the next couple of weeks for my neighbours’ sheep. The ewes are in the fields in front of the house so I can count them from the window, but I walk over to feed the rams (they’re having extra treats to build up stamina!). They came running yesterday and, after a bit of jostling, organised themselves in order of size at the trough.

I think you really do need to get a cloak for these occasions. And perhaps a bonnet? I assume you don't want the full china shepherdess set with a crook with a bow on it.
