During my trip from Rome to Helsinki, while moving, I had the opportunity to see so many marvelous places, like this house in Kedainiai, Lithuania.

Traditional green wooden house in Kėdainiai, Lithuania, photographed on 23 July 2025 during a road trip from Rome to Helsinki along the Via Baltica. The house features horizontal timber siding painted deep green, white-framed windows with decorative shutters, two white entrance doors and a steep, weathered reddish-brown metal roof. Old television antennas rise above the building, while a wooden fence supported by red brick pillars borders the property. The quiet cobblestone-paved street and surrounding historic houses evoke the atmosphere of a small Baltic town.

🌿🏮An abandoned Italian villa sits within large, overgrown grounds filled with exotic trees and plants.

The owner built an immense botanical collection; the most precious specimens were once housed in this beautiful greenhouse

While the villa is captivating to photograph, the Japan-inspired glasshouse is the highlight for me.
