La Grotta Grande del Ciolo a Gagliano del Capo, nel territorio di Santa Maria di Leuca, è una delle più grandi grotte costiere del Salento (Puglia). Raggiungibile dal mare, gli speleologi possono invece raggiungere in calata dall'alto, con un divertente pendolo o bagno nel mare per chi scende ad amare fino alla spiaggia interna. Un grande classico dell'inizio dell'estate che, anche quest'anno, non è mancato.

La Grotta Grande del Ciolo in Gagliano del Capo, near Santa Maria di Leuca, is one of the largest coastal caves in Salento (Puglia). Reachable from the sea, speleologists can also access it by abseiling from above—complete with a fun pendulum swing or a swim in the sea for those descending all the way down to the internal beach. A classic early-summer tradition that didn't miss its appointment this year either.

Grotta Grande del Ciolo (PU113). This is the initial room after the entrance from the sea or the roof. The final room in the cave.
