Road Biking in Santa Cruz County

We did a nice 26 mile road bike ride yesterday morning from Seacliff State Beach to Lighthouse Field in Santa Cruz, CA. The two cows are among the several in the Santa Cruz Arana Gulch park that is along the bike route. Turns out that the brown cow's name is Gabby. I didn't get the name of the other one.

Nice 25 mile road bike ride this morning from the Santa Cruz (CA) Beach Boardwalk area north to Davenport and back.

The photo of Shark Fin is from the new ,but not complete or officially open, bike/walking path addition from Wilder State Beach up to Davenport. Shark Fin is a mile or so south of Davenport.

The short section from Shark Fin to Davenport is not yet paved and not great for road bikes.

Last I heard the new path is to be completed this year.
