Found a good vantage point nearby. Need to spend some time there when we get a really clear sunrise or sunset.

Telephoto definitely adds a layer of challenge to stabilize the tripod from even tiny movements. Harder to lock in manual focus on this lens vs my wide angles too, the wheel moves a bit too easily. Gets tough to be sure autofocus will continue to properly lock in the dark. Need to try to dial it in a bit better.

#timelapse video from last night where, somehow, I caught no meteors. Couple of sats and a lot of pretty stars, but even when I bit-crunched it to heck and back the most notable things were CCD noise.
Taken from a sea wall in suffolk, england using my Skywatcher, a home-made camera setup with a NOIR v3 camera module and a raspberry pi. 10sec exposures.
