Image: Notebook and pen. Scratched-out work on one page. Poem superimposed on the other.

Poem:
freshwater bog —
an unfinished poem
Dirty chia in hand

Sleep-deprived poet
Adds a few lines

hours before dawn
waiting for the fog
to lift

Minds fading Light
My muse pretends to sing
Scratch a literal line

ghosts in the old tavern
exchanging sea shanties

Erasure marks
Fill the page
