Some bonus from my husband’s Saturday walk to the Dighty Burn wooded river valley near our home in eastern , .

A female holly blue butterfly perched facing right on green ivy leaves. A dipper bird perched facing left on a grey triangular rock with river water behind. A female blackbird - brown coloured - perched facing left among bramble berries and green leaves. She was feasting on the fresh fruit.
