An ant trekking over what appears to possibly be a seed of some description. These little ones can move pretty fast at times.

A macro photograph of an ant. The ant is in the centre of the image, and is moving from right to left. Just to the left of the ant is what appears to be a light brown seed pod, in the shape of a maraca with the bulb facing away and to the left and the stick towards and to the centre of the image. The ground is stone with a little moss. The ant is mostly black , with some apparent shades of brown at thin areas of its body including the legs, antennae, and mandibles. The image is heavily blurred due to the macro depth of field effect, with only the ant, the seed pod, and the ground immediately beneath them in focus. The image is glarey with bright sunlight reflecting off the stone and moss surface creating high contrast.
