nahaufnahme, frontalansicht einer braunen heuschrecke die an einem steil von links unten nach rechts oben durchs bild gehenden verzinkten stahlrohr sitzt. die gesichtsplatte vorne ist größtenteils dunkelbraun, während die platte oben zwischen den orangebraunen facettenaugen fein krümelig beige und braun gemasert ist, meliert. auch die beine und die oberseite des sich dahinter anschließenden sattelförmigen rückenschildes sind so gefärbt, die seiten des sattels dunkel. weitere details verschwinden in der tiefenunschärfe. der hintergrund ist grün.

A photo of a flower, but strange. There is a green stalk with white fuzz hanging down from the top corner of the frame. Hanging from the stalk is a flower with four huge red petals. The petals have not completely opened yet, so one is open and the other three are closed. Just visible on the inside of the flower is a white ball and a hint of purple on the other side of the red petals. It looks alien, strange and beautiful because it is all soft and fuzzy and red and white and purple. I don’t know how else to describe it.
