(Sorry for the lack of seriousness just now.) I forgot on Friday !!
Sometimes I find shop windows to be little works of art (especially when I photograph them).
And what is the difference between this piece of art :

I live in a rather artistic town #Ghent, and in the past there were lots of window display artists who created shop windows just for fun (nothing for sale).
But this photo is of a real shop window; for a moment I thought it was worth a pic on film.
This summer we were back in Italy and also spent about a week in Bologna.
It’s almost become an annual tradition.
And when I travel, I always take far too many cameras with me.
Especially now, at a time when I sometimes question the point of my analogue photography...
What for, and for whom ?
But on arriving in Bologna, I did end up rediscovering one of my oldest camera companions,
my Canon A1, loaded with a roll of Kodak 400 Ultramax
Mainly to see if I could find a bit of joy in taking photos just for the fun of it.
Something I did notice whilst wearing my A1 round my neck on walks around town... The camera is really heavy to have round your neck all the time!
And I haven’t mentioned it yet, but Bologna was absolutely sweltering in early August!
