In the National Roman Museum (Museo Nazionale Romano) at the Baths of Diocletian.

Photograph of a museum room seen through a round window. The window opens to a room with 3 floors. The window with the point of view opens to the middle floor. The bottom floor has glass case displays with smaller artifacts such as ceramics. The middle floor ends with doors to a room with life-size statues, including a statue of an armless Venus in the center of the perspective and the center of the photograph. The top floor can only be seen from underneath, as a walkway bridging the room above the window and the room above the statue of Venus. The ceiling of the multi-floor room is unseen. Overall, the architecture and display of the museum are marked by an important symmetry within the perspective of the photograph.

My mother loved the view from the windows of her house into the beauty of the surrounding landscape and her garden. It brought her comfort and joy.

Ein Abrisshaus, die Treppenaufgänge ohne Geländer, der Blick durch ein teilentglastes Flurfenster auf ein Hinterhaus in ähnlich schlechtem Zustand. Den Hof schmückt ein Baum, ein interessanter Kontrast zum Grau der Gemäuer. Es war ein Besuch mit leichtem Unsicherheitsgefühl und der Wut auf die "unterlassene Hilfeleistung", Sanierung preiswerten Wohnraums in Berlin.

Der Blick treppaufwärts durch ein teilentglastes Sprossenfenster auf die Fassade des zum Objekt gehörenden Hinterhauses. Den im Vordergrund sichtbaren Treppen fehlen die Geländer, zu sehen sind nur noch die hölzernen Ränder der Treppenstufen. Die Sicht auf das Hinterhaus zeigt identische, ebenso zerstörte Sprossenfenster des Treppenhauses. Der teils fehlende Putz gibt den Blick auf das Ziegelgemäuer frei. Links, im sichtbaren Durchblick ist Blattwerk eines Baumes erkennbar. Aufnahme mit einer Minolta SRT-101, 58 mm auf Ilford FP-4
