Black and white photo in portrait format of my son practicing soroban (abacus) calculations.

The photo was shot as my son is sitting at a table over his right shoulder from behind. His head and top of right should fill the entire left third of the frame. His left hand is holding the left side of the soroban to keep it steady, and his right hand is moving the 8th upper bead from the left. The soroban is resting on top of two sheets of multiplication and division math practice sheets of paper.

Directly left and above above the sheets of paper on a corner of the table is a round ceramic dish holding office utility clips. Above and middle of the sheets of paper is a small binder memo book. Above that is a keyboard and monitor facing opposite my son. Above and to the left of the sheets is a rectangular pencil eraser. And under his right forearm is a ball point pen.

Die Arme saß ewig am Fliegennetz und ist auch nicht weggeflogen, wenn das Netz stärker vibriert hat. Erst nach der Stärkung mit dem Honig hat sie sich wieder auf den Weg gemacht.

Da will ich mein kleines Werk auch mal beisteuern.
Der alte Leuchtturm von Travemünde - der Backsteinbau datiert zurück auf 1539 und beherbergt heute ein Museum der Seefahrtsgeschichte.
Das Bild entstand 2018, aber ich habe es mal früsch bearbeitet.
