The image captures a large, monochrome parade featuring numerous military personnel marching in formation. They are dressed uniformly with dark camouflage patterns and various badges indicating their ranks or units. The soldiers hold rifles at rest on the ground as they march across what appears to be an open square surrounded by spectators who fill the background. Many civilians are watching from behind barriers, some standing closer while others further away. Notably absent is any modern technology like smartphones; it's a snapshot of military parade in mid-20th century Europe or North America. Additional context for this photograph comes through provided information indicating that it was taken during "Militairen tijdens een parade" by Ed van der Elsken, with the years 1954 - 1959. This implies a historical setting of post-World War II era Europe or North America where such military parades were common public events. The photograph showcases the discipline and ceremonial aspec

The image is a black and white photograph of a woman with voluminous, tousled hair. She wears large hoop earrings and what appears to be a dark coat or jacket with the collar up around her neck. The lighting accentuates the texture of her hair and creates shadows that give depth to her features. There's no discernible background as it is blurred out; the focus remains on the woman herself. This photograph has a candid, spontaneous feel typically associated with street photography from mid-20th century Europe or North America.
