This is a black and white wildlife photo in landscape format of three large white-tailed eagles soaring of a cliff face. Gjesværstappan Islands, Norway (2017).

Other than part of the near vertical cliff face the image is filled with a clear and cloudless sky rendered a light grey. The cliff face starts a short distance below the top right corner and descends at a steep angle into the lower right corner of the photo. The cliff is made up of smooth rocks with tufts of long grass growing from cracks in the rock. A short distance from the cliff are the three White-Tailed Eagles (Haliaeetus albicilla), often called Sea Eagles. The first eagle is above centre and is viewed from below at a distance of ten metres. The bird is banking steeply towards the cliff, which is three metres away, with the large wings outspread and undersides in view. The outspread wings are swept forward forming a large 'C' shape. The bird is mainly black to dark grey, with lighter patches around the forward inboard s
