Sunday in California

(Details In The ) (AltText Misspelt By Hunan)

This is a black and white street photo in landscape format of a man riding a Penny Farthing along a waterfront bike path. Long Beach California (2014). From the lower right corner is the white concrete bike path that extends diagonally up and across the image to the left edge. To the left of centre is our cyclist riding his penny farthing, sometimes called a high wheel. The camera is a metre and a half above the ground, aligned towards the cyclist at a distance of three metres and with the cyclist filling three-quarters of the height of the image. The cyclist is in motion from left to right, diagonally across the photo and towards the camera. The intrepid rider is wearing a white pith helmet, dark aviator style sun glasses, has a short and neat dark Van Dyke beard and is clothed in a cyclist's jacket, shorts and trainers. He also wearing a pair of stout black gloves and elbow pads. To the right of the bike path is a metre or two of sand before a rocky seawall is reached with the ocean
