This is a black and white photo in landscape format of an old Douglas DC3 aircraft painted in a psychedelic style. Tucson, Arizona (2013). The aircraft stretches from the left margin across the photo towards the right edge. The fuselage is angled upwards with only the mid and forward section in view. The wing stretches outwards from the middle of the fuselage and ends out of view beyond the right of the image. The camera is located close behind the wing, a metre and a half above the ground and angled towards the nose of the plane. The aircraft fills three-quarters of the image. The bright desert sun is illuminating the aircraft. The plane is painted all white with countless black swirls painted on top creating multiple patterns. Around the nose those patterns are fish like with their mouths open with a further fish inside the mouth. Aft of the nose and on the fuselage over the wing, the swirling lines become more random with any pattern hard to make out. There is an arm holding a swor

This is an old night time colour photo in landscape format taken through a passenger window viewing over the wing of a Boeing 737 aircraft while it's being deiced. Oslo, Norway (2007). From the base of the photo and extending away towards the right side is the swept wing of this jet aircraft. The camera is located behind a passenger window, about one metre above the and towards the rear of the wing, with the wing filling much of the lower half of the image. The forward part of the upper surface is shiny clearly reflecting the activities above. To the left and above the centre of the photo is the Sci-Fi like cab of an elevated aircraft deicing rig. The cab is mounted at the end of a long telescopic arm with the most of the mobile base out of view to the left of the image. The cab of the rig is level with the leading edge of the wing, about half way along it's length and two metres above.
