All that I am askin' is for a little clarity
That's all that really matters to me
In and out of focus, tears are in my eyes
We're burnin' down the bridges this time

(Sam Smith - No Peace)

Camera: Leica Q2
Edit: none, sooc

It's not sharp, it has no focus but this shot still speaks to me.

Picture of a flower, taken from the ground upwards. The main flower is bright yellow against the very blue sky with clouds. The object is blurry and not in focus. On the bottom some grass and other small flowers are visible. In the upper part is the sun with several beams (flares) in different directions. Photo is colourfull and bright overall.

I don't mean to stereotype, but I did meet this little one on a rubbish bin in the park. 😂 ✨🗑️

A close up photo of a Common Green Bottle Fly. It has a shiny metallic looking body that is green and gold. It has really big red eyes with a whitish/grey face.

A wide view of rolling Welsh hills. The foreground is densely covered with bright yellow gorse, deep purple heather, vivid green bilberry, and light orange dried heath grasses. To the right, a rocky, craggy ridge rises up covered in reddish-orange dried bracken. Green hills stretch out into the distance under a dramatic, overcast sky filled with heavy blue-grey and white clouds.

A row of brightly painted Victorian terraced houses in yellow and red, royal blue, sky blue, and white. A green bicycle lane runs along the right side of the dark asphalt road in front of the houses. A tilted, wide angle aerial view from a swing ride at a fun fair in Paris. Two people with ponytail sit in bright pink plastic seats high over the fairground below. On the ground, the green and white top of a carousel and an array of white tents are set up among the green trees in the Jardin des Tuileries. A day in . Wanna play a guessing game and take a stab at how much these beach huts sell for? ⁽ⁿᵒ ᶜʰᵉᵃᵗⁱⁿᵍ⁾

A row of four coastal beach huts standing on dry sand. From left to right, the huts are painted royal blue with white doors, bright yellow with blue doors and a pink roofline, solid teal blue, and light grey with a silver metal door. A tall flagpole stands behind the second hut, flying Welsh flag. The flag, known as Y Ddraig Goch (The Red Dragon) is white on the top half and green on the bottom with a red dragon centered in the middle.

While it's much more likely that this Rosella was eating, I much prefer to consider that it was deep in thought, stroking the bird equivalent of a beard. A beark? A beard-eak? Hmm...

Warburton, Victoria, Australia

A photograph of a rosella perched on a tree branch. One leg is on the branch, the other leg is up at its beak. Two toes are open either side of the beak, as if they were a thumb and forefinger stroking a beard in thought. The Rosella is very colourful, with splashes of red, green and blue mottled throughout. The belly is predominantly red, the shoulders and back are green, and the face is mostly red with blue cheeks. The branches are mostly bare but the ends of the thin branches show buds forming. There are small patches of lichen on some ares of the thicker branches. The sky is overcast - it is a dull but glarey day.
